Rust Never Sleeps
The day I got to shoot the Thunder Bay Ore Docks was one of the most exciting of my career. Any time you get to play with structures that are eight storeys tall without a guardrail is a treat! I was flown out from Toronto in a tiny plane and taken straight to the docks. At one point I got tired with my view from the ground and finagled the fire department to send a truck with a bucket so I could get a better angle. After shooting all morning they wanted to take me out for a late lunch before sending me back. “No, thanks,” I said. This was my Wonderland. I shot until they told me the plane was taxiing for takeoff.
